3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! The game it self reminds me of the first FPS that I played on the ps1 Star Wars: Dark Forces (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4tW31sDV_A).
It is this wonderful mix of the old,the new,and the classic.The old being the strange close quarters combat moments when you raid a base and the way the firing fx look sometimes. The new, would be the open world and loot-stat variation along with the world destruction. The classic is the art style and RPG content which makes you get deeper into the game itself even if its not yet finished.:P I know my own review sucks but the game doesn't,just give it a chance and you will be hooked once you get the hang of it,this is really one of my new favorite games I have played(I'm a hardcore gamer and also an Indie game lover and supporter):D
