VRAM : AMD Radeon 4200HD (Integrated videocard) with at least 256MB in VRAM. Most videocards (integrated and dedicated) are supported. Intel chipsets may present different troubles with the game, see the notes for Intel videocards below.
HDD : At least 1Gb of free space.

About the Game

 3:00am Dead Time is a horror game like no other. Join a TV show about paranormal events, and get ready to investigate the scariest places and phenomena from all over the world, be it a ghost or UFO sighting, a haunted house, old graveyards and churches, underground tunnels etc. You will have to capture the best evidence of the existance of the forces around you, be it an alien, a poltergeist, or even a demon. With hundreds of phenomena, dozens of paranormal beings, randomly generated behaviour that responds to your actions,huge scenes with lots of details and secrets to explore and discover, and hundreds of little evidences and clues that will help you to understand the history of each place, this will be the most complete horror game for the PC


  •     Control a complete team of paranormal researchers as they go all around the world looking for the most amazing and scariest evidence.
  •     With a tactic gameplay not seen before in a horror game, you will control your squad and will need to organize them just like in the old Tactic FPS classics : Swat4, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six. Give them instructions, or jump directly into their minds and take full direct control.
  •     Set up cameras, microphones, lights...and take a shot! Watch the best evidence, and capture amazing phenomena for the delight of your audience.
  •     Ask for help, invite mediums, demonologists, UFO specialists and other professionals to get the job or to invite tormented souls to the party.
  •     Interview the local people to know their stories. Many times, they will give you a little push on the right direction.

  •     You will never get bored, because this is not just a ghosts game. Its a game about the paranormal universe, and because of that, you will be able to see much more.

To all our funders, followers, and all the people who have supported this game during its development :



As you have noticed, this post is lacking a lot of images and videos, as well as the latest demo we released less than a month ago. Due to legal reasons, and to comply with the terms of the UDK license, we had remove all the content related to this engine. The reasons behind this are explained below :

Yesterday, March 19th, we received an email with some news from Epic : their new engine, UE4, has just been launched to the public, and all the documentation and files from UDK have been archived.

They invite every developer whose games are not in a final stage of development to switch to the new engine. Epic warns us, however, that this vesion will be unstable for the next six months (at least) and that it has scarce documentation. Besides, the Unrealscript language that was used in all the previous versions of Unreal isn't supported now, and will be replaced by C++.

Besides, this new engine is not optimized yet, so it has extremely high requirements, so it would be impossible for us to continue the development of the game in that engine with our current machine, it would take a lot of time to port everything from UDK to UE4, and most of our followers and funders wouldn't be able to run the game anymore, due to the said requirements.

We hoped to stick with our version of UDK, but we found several incompatibilities and bugs that we thought would be corrected with some update from Epic. But said updates had even more incompatibilities (mostly with integrated cards, such as ours), and with the release of UE4 it was hinted that UDK will not receive any further update, so people can switch to UE4.

This change would represent a big delay in the development of the game, at least 8 months until a stable version of UE4 is available, and several months after this until we learn how to properly use the new engine, port the resources, and all the source to C++. It would be like starting from scratch.

Given this, we have a version of UDK that will soon be obsolete, will not have any new updates to correct its bugs,incompatibilities and restrictions, and ultimately, will produce a lot of troubles to you, the end user, and we would be forced to release a game with a lot of incompatibilities and bugs, from the engine.

With this in mind, we took a difficult decision : we are going to switch back to Unity Free, the engine that we originally used to develop the game.

Fortunately, one year after we moved from Unity to UDK, a lot of new tools and add-ons for Unity have been released, which will let us raise the visual quality of the game in a way that the change from UDK to Unity won't bee too rough. Most of the features we have developed in UDK will be available in Unity, and a lot of old features that were impossible to reproduce in UDK due to its limits (for example, the ability to save and see the images or other footage that you captured in a mission inside the game) will be reintroduced in the upcoming versions. Even if we will have to adjust the game to the Unity engine, it will let us add very interesting features.

We are not happy with this situation that was beyond our control, but we realize that there are several advantages with the return to Unity :

We know how to use the engine, and have enough experience with it. We know the limits and capabilities of Unity, and the port from UDK to Unity will be shorter and easier than the port from UDK ot UE4. We had a lot of snippets of code in Unity that will be polished and updated so they can be used in the new Betas. We are not going to start the game all over again, we'll just resume our work with Unity, so the development will return to its normal speed soon, and once we have set up everything, it will be faster than now.

Unity will give the game a better performance and lower requirements, so the game will be playable in lower-end machines, without comprosing the graphical quality. We are going to spend the money we'd have used in the new UE4 to buy new addons and tools to improve the graphical quality of Unity Free as much as possible, and improve the overall gameplay experience.

In short, Unity is our best shot now that the development using UDK is impossible.

The project is still in active development, and we are working really hard to give you everything we promised, despite this really hard blow that was completely unexpected, and beyond our control.

We apologize for this series of events, that will represent a minor delay in the development, but we can assure you that we took this decision after a long and thoughtful exam. We believe that in the long run, this will prove to be the best action in the current situation, to ensure that all of you can play and enjoy the game and we can keep developing it until the final version. In the upcoming days you will get more news and updates about this event, but we can tell you that 3:00am will continue its development, and we'll keep improving and adding more and better content to the game as we progress.

I just played the demo and it was very creepy :D I am glad that this game work on my "Intel(R) HD Graphics Family" card.(I didn't use the fix) This means that i can play the final version of it. And for the game, It has very good and excellent atmosphere especially to the sounds(it is very disturbing).The layer of each place is good but it is like unity3D.(Improve that) The camera flashlight was funny cause it almost lighted the whole entire area of a room (Can you fix that?) :) And there is no options menu :( And can u add an option to give us hint if sometimes we get stucked ?? I am currently on the hospital level and i don't know if i can continue on because of the creeps it gave to me ... But, i will never give up >:) Sorry for my critizism but like LeBron.. "Critizism makes us stronger" :D
In Overall: I will rate it 8/10 cause i know that this game has a wide potential to improve more and have entitled to be the Best Haunting Simulator !
I am looking forward for the flow of development and updates of this game ! YOLO ! :)

Hi! This demo is actually the tutorial of the full game, and the zones we included are a little more lineal than the actual missions. The missions of the game have a lot of different endings and there isn't a list of objectives to complete, besides some very basic ones. It is a Paranormal Investigation Simulator, that rewards exploration and researching.

However, we will try to add a help system so players can finish the levels without getting lost or stuck. A visual help system that can be turned on and off may be useful for a lot of players.

The options menu appears when you execute the launcher; we can't add an in-game settings menu because we experienced several crashes with the engine when changing settigns with the game running.

It is great to hear that the game is running on Intel Chipsets and that you liked it, and we appreciate a lot your feedback as it will help us to improve the game with each new version.

Thanks for your support, and we hope in the future you'll be able to fund and get the full version of our game. We are sure you'll like it.

Played through the new beta, and it (especially the Tunnels level) was absolutely terrifying. Out of curiosity, is there anyway to be able to review footage after completing a level? I don't know if you can do that with UDK, but having some sort of archives would be neat.

Hi there!

It is great to hear that you liked this new demo, and that it scared you.

For now, you can see the pictures you take with the digital camera once you exit from the game. They are located inside the game's folder, in UDKGame/Screenshots/Win32.

The UDK doesn't have a way to record replays, and has a lot of limits when you want to save something in the hard disk (so the player can see their replays at a later time). There's no easy way (if any) to make a replay system that is both efficient (performance wise) and easy to implement.

If we find a way to develop some kind of system to review the footage of the mission, we will try to add it in later betas. So right now, we will have to focus on the gameplay and the story of the different missions.
