But how about multiplayer? Well then for you we got this special announcement!
2DLandz will be equipped with intense PVP or Co-op (for those who like that). The co-op will be like playing alone, but with your friends, I think you know what I'm talking about. More details about this later, we will focus a lot on the multiplayer!
But PVP will be different, a decent number of players will be placed inside a map (either made by us, or you! Yes... YOU!) where you will fight for your survival. Each player spawns with the same weapon, the most boring one, the pistol.... But later on when a player is killed, a new weapon is dropped, which one of the players can equip by just standing beside it and press a button to pick it up. But REMEMBER, your current weapon WILL be thrown out for other players to pick up, so each player is limited with one weapon during the whole game.
Well, thats it for now! Not so much actually, just a new fresch start for our game 2DLandz.
We hope you agree with us when we say that the game will be developed for the PC instead. We are doing this for the following reasons:
- Now when the Xbox One is comming the indie games who will be realesed for the 360 will NOT be ported to the Xbox One. This is one of the main reasons we decided to work on the PC.
- Servers on the Xbox, now the game only works for Local play, therefor it can not be played over the Xbox Live. We agreed to instead build a server on the PC for users to host their own servers.
- More players, now that the game is no longer limited to 4 players during to local play. It can now handle up too 16 or maybe 24 players, it depends on the computer the server is running on. This will give so much action to the game, I'd have to say, this is what I'm most excited about.
I would like to know your oppinion about this change, good/bad?
