Can anybody tell me, why there are no mods for Gears? You get the whole Unreal Engine 3-toolset to create own maps and mods on PC, so why the hell is this section empty?
Average if you ask me but im not a big fan of gears tbh
I agree with LAUGHING_MAN, theirs no way that i will paying to go online too, look at UT3 for an instance, you dont have to pay to go online for that, and it's made by same game designer/makers EPIC. So really for PC user it should be free, as we allready have to pay for a internet provider anyway. I'll just stick to my games where online play is free such as UT04 UT, UT3,D00M3 and so on. It's just another way to get our good earned money out of our pockets.
Is it moddable anyway as i see no mods yet being made or developed!

Gears on PC is great, and runs really nicely on a fairly high-end system. I just wish there were more multiplayer servers. Anyone in the UK or around Europe want to play some co-op some time?
You have a good point there, I mean I can just about get it on Medium settings, but it still looks nice and I would like to see more active players on the game. Everytime I've tried to get online, there's been a maximum of about 3 servers, though they usually have a full list of players.
What do you think it's down to? I think it's the lack of player created maps and custom content to be honest.
i dont play online for the simple reason i dont want to pay my good money to have to play online, i dont have to do it for all of my other online games so why this one, and i think this is the reason why lots of other people dont play.
