Theres nothing like a classic and well DOOM certainly is that... a classic game! One of the pioneers of the gaming industry doom has withstood the test of time, and the fact that a select few still make mods for this ripper is testimony to that!
So if you havn't heard or played this game obviously you have missed out. Hell your life probably would have been quite different. Ahh well if you are ever presented with a chance to fire up one of its modern mods be sure to give em a spin because doom created those big f**king guns we have come to love!

Doom. I remember playing this game, when i was a kid. Some great times, blasting zombies out of nowhere and running around finding keycards. Doom is probably one of the greatest games ever made and it rightly deserves that title.

It could be Edge 1.27 or higher. Edge has shadows.
The first screenshot is definitely from ZDoom, but that second screenshot has me completely baffled by it's legitimacy.
The first one is real( i think) , but the one that shows the spider mastermind is fake, why?
The spider mastermind ain´t that small, that game has no shadows , and that spider
mastermind has shadows , look at the door , the look a little bit up , it says something like "1994. Al Fuhnann"

I decided that i am going to make a mod for this game.
Ahh, Doom... the game that defined first-person shooters for me when I first obtained it in 1994... I do wonder why ModDB have a (horribly) fake screenshot though.

If you're part of a doom community, like www.doomworld.com, you'll see, its more like a select hundreds. And that's on one site alone. Doom is the most modded game ever, no question.
