Theres nothing like a classic and well DOOM certainly is that... a classic game! One of the pioneers of the gaming industry doom has withstood the test of time, and the fact that a select few still make mods for this ripper is testimony to that!
So if you havn't heard or played this game obviously you have missed out. Hell your life probably would have been quite different. Ahh well if you are ever presented with a chance to fire up one of its modern mods be sure to give em a spin because doom created those big f**king guns we have come to love!

OMG I love Doom! It is ub3r! I use ZDaemon and I have skulltag also. What is doomsday used for?
Skulltag, wasnt that good. I tell you that. I use ZDAEMON for all my online gaming on doom. Whats cool about it that you downloaded and kept a players mod if you played with them. The was this one wad call "CoopbuildDm", a endless horde of monsters came at you level through level. Man, that is still fun.
hey..im creating a doom mod for those annoying 48 year olds that like doom and mazes combined..so..ask me if u wanna get involved in beta testing before i release it on moddb..so..go
software is *the* single most greatest software company in the world. I mean, Doom is the game that pretty much plays matriarch to all first person shooters. I don't know them, but I'm glad John Carmack and his team are rolling in cash right now... they deserve it.

well some source ports i reccomend and some mods are:
zdoom-good for mod wads
Doomsday-easy multiplayer-and good graphics-openGL
mods for zdoom i reccomend:

i havent found any mods for the doomsday engine-im a noob at fixing command line and crud.

Doom influenced my life.End of Story.Its a great game with a great story.
