<span style="font-size: 10px; font-family: arial">- - - The Download Includes:
1) The latest UUTools Program, by Muldrf (see UU Tools Readme below for details)
2) Resorted Single Player Missions (resorted by Muldrf)
3) New Internal Hud Toggle Added to the Ingame Options Menu (Setup by Muldrf with tips from Remore)
3) Moonraker's new Mission Menu Layout (and more menu changes), Makes Scrollbars easier to see and menu fit on screen properly. One other change he has in there is when you Host a Multiplayer game it now puts "Ultimate Universe" on the end of the game name so people know your using UU.
4) Moonraker's "NoMipMap" UI Textures to keep the Menus crisp at all graphic settings. (Due to an ATI Driver issue)
5) Moonraker's TMP Era Texture tweak for his Connie and Miranda Class Refits (Minor Texture change to these ships I'm not even sure what was changed I think it's around the Bridge Dome)
6) Corrected Stock Earth Textures, they are no longer mirrored (fixed by Moonraker)
7) Soverign Class Deflector texture mod by Capt. Jon that Grunt put on ftp for download the other month. (adds a bit of glow to the Sov's Deflector)
Installation: Extract UUTool3105.exe from the zip file to a folder on your harddrive and run it to start the installation process. Select the location of your Ultimate Universe Stage 1 install and install it over top. After the installation is complete you will have a new icon on your desktop for UUTools 3101 just double click it. The first time you open the tool it will setup some registry settings, after that you won't get the setting/reseting registry settings popup again.
Be aware of that if you have Multipule folders to get the other new ingame features off the UUTools & More release you must install it to each folder individually.
Windows Vista Support:
For Windows Vista you must run the program as Administrator.
Method 1: (required one time)
Edit the shortcut to the uutool25.exe "UUTools 3105" on your Desktop
First right click the shortcut and then left click on "Properties" goto the Compatiblity tab and put a check in the box for "run as administrator" and press ok/apply to save the setting. Then anytime you run utool25.exe by that shortcut it will run as administrator. If you computer asks you to allow it to you must allow it or it won't work.
Method 2: (required each time you run the tool, it more annoying, I recommend using Method 1)
To do this either right click the exe or shortcut and left click "run as administrator". If you use that method you will have to do it that way each time you want to use it.
Instructions:
This utility can be run from any location but the installer puts it into the Star Trek Legacy folder with UU.
After installing run uutool25.exe. If you installed Legacy and the UU Mod in the default path of "C:Program FilesBethesda SoftworksStar Trek Legacy" just select the race you want and press the "Select Race" button to change the race you will play in the UU 1on1 mode maps and all other Singleplayer Maps that you choose a fleet for including the origional campaign except your Hero ship.
You can add additional paths with the Add Another Legacy button. When you add installs to the list it will check for a valid UU mod installation in that path if it's not in that path it won't allow you to add it. It will also check if the folder contains a vaild UU install before allowing use of any of the functions and it could cause errors trying to use the tool on a non UU Legacy or a directory that nolonger exists.
You can remove any currently listed install with the Delete button.
The new Default button will reset your race selections back to UU's default settings including your 1on1 Selection. It resets when pressing it there is no need to press the "MultiSelect" button after pressing "Default".
This utility is included to allow for the six races in the Ultimate Universe to be selectable in Multiplayer. All players that join the game will need to have the same 4 races selected so they don't get the "different version" error when trying to join.
It doesn't matter what order you pick the races in as long as you choose the same 4 races as everyone else. It sorts them and once they are changed so the names in the boxes might change after pressing Multiselect but they will be the same 4 your choose. There is no need to use the Default button between race changes just choose your new selections.

4. Added Access to the UU Chat Server to aid in setting up Multiplayer matches with people

6. Added Readme File Library Viewer to allow viewing of all the UU Related Readme files.
7. Added feature as you Doubleclick on an Installation Path a Windows Explorer window will open to that path if it's valid.
8. Removed the Hud Disable Function from the tool. It is now an internal feature in Legacy via the Ingame Options Menu. The actual button in the tool has not been removed but it now just gives a notice how to access the new "Hud Toggle" button via the Ingame Options Menu.
9. The tool is being released with some new .xml files that are new Sorted Singleplayer Mission Menus so you can find missions easier.
10. Added Engage button to Launch Legacy in the selected Installation. (You no longer need a Legacy Icon for UU but it will still work from the Icon)
Changes from 2.6.2f to 3.0.0.1c(Version released with UU Stage 1)
1. Added Multiplayer Race Selection Features.
2. Menustrip and New Readme/Help Sections added.
3. Started some other internal changes to allow for future additions.
4. Fixed 2 bugs found in the 2.6.2 (unreleased internal team builds) versions one that if you didn't have UU present in the default Legacy install folder it would crash. Another but that had to do with it not clearing / leaving duplicate installs listed after Deleting or Adding Legacy installs.
Changes from 2.5t (Origional Version released with the origional Dominion Pack) to 2.6.2f:
1. Alot more flexable interal code for allowance of additional races. No Additional Races have been enabled beyond the 6 in UU at this point.
2. Eliminated the need for a text file that had previously been used to view the currently selected race.
3. Use of registry instead of "ini" file for settings.
4. The tool will now reselect the previously last selected install when opened
5. Check for Valid UU install to the default install location and it won't be displayed unless it's a valid UU install. That way it's there if it's supposed to be but for people like myself it won't be in the way of our real UU installations.
6. Various internal changes to how the work actually gets done.
7. A proper About Box and other visual changes.
8. "Edit List" functions changed to "Delete Selected Install" this allowed removal of the "Refresh" button too.
9. Made changes to Hud Enable/Disable Function to make it usable without affecting multiplayer. Now you can join multiplayer games with or without the hud disabled.
10. Added code to cleanup the .ini and .uum files that had been used by the 2.5t version because they could cause multiplayer version sync issues.</span>
