With over a hundred years separating it from Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142 introduces a variety of new techs and vehicle classes. The trailer shows a foot soldier rendered invisible, appearing out of nowhere. VTOL gunships are seen patrolling the skies over streets surging with giant Mechs.

Conflict 2142 hits the public!
As some of You already know our Modification through our Tournament
CF2142.com, the mod is dedicated to fixing bugs/errors and adding new
content to the Battlefield 2142. We have succeeded.

content to the Battlefield 2142. We have succeeded.
Unfortunately, the mod being developed purely for the Conflict
Tournament in mind, made the community not mention much about us - or
mention nothing at all. But now as the Modification has been polished,
stress tested by our dedicated Community, we have prepared the Public,
2.6 version of the mod, as well providing public servers to play the
mod on. And now, we are going to fix it, and we try to spread the word.
There is an alternative for people who find vanilla unsatisfying. There
is Conflict 2142.
Give it a go! Most of the info needed to get started has been posted
on our ModDB profile, as well are the screenshots. Go have a look at
the profile and see what we can offer. And what we have are new
vehicles, new weapons, new maps. Everything You ever wanted in 2142,
but it was missed out*.
We have made the battlefield right. Do it the right way with Conflict.

i like the fact they put pb in the game, it keeps it fair. If you are getting kicked try updating you punk buster...got to system file for bf2142 and run pb setup and update...if this doesnt work i dont know what to tell you.....

When I try to login it says that the CD key was already registered with an account and my Game is an original one not a copy!
How do you play offline without an ID.....

You know I didn't like this one as much as BF2. The basic version only has 6 maps (IIRC) and two factions. Then the northern strike expansion has a couple extra vehicles and 3 more maps. Contrast this with BF2 w/ its expansions, 4 main factions, 6 special forces factions, a butt-load of vehicles and over two dozen maps. The graphics & sound aren't that big a step up from BF2, I haven't noticed much difference in the physics (tho I'm told there are some), and titan mode can be frustrating if no one on the server uses team work, or shares rides up to the enemy titan. All in all it seems like a step down from BF2 in terms of gameplay.
