Welcome to 1944 D-Day : Operation Overlord.
1944 D-Day : Operation Overlord
is the simulation of an event. It does not strive to tell the story of one unit or one squad. Instead it endeavors to tell the story of the battle. The game at its core is driven by a highly adaptable AI system, this AI system controls over 250,000 units in real-time. Moving them all around the battlefield and adapting their orders, objectives and tasks to an every evolving battlefield.

Unknown Engine must be powerful then. lol
This looks to be quite an undertaking. Can't wait to see further development.
Apologies for not updating this sooner. The project is still very much alive, feel free to visit the forums for a full update. Basically the tame has been hard at work trying to get the game into a playable form, so we've been focusing on that.
Are the railroad tracks just props or will trains be a part of the game to supply and reinforce the Germans?
If yes, can you control them or be part of the crew?
that wolud be cool if you cuold xD
As far as I understand he said you can be an officer only when you play as a skirmish but not sure about online, as the officer you can command you troops and order them were ever you like and so I think if trains work it can be used as one form of transportation regarding the tracks are fine and the location is safe.
