After an asteroid hits earth, the impacted island chain is sealed off by North Korea. The US responds by sending in a Delta Force team, aiming to discover the secrets locked inside. An alien force then appears from within the meteorite, forcing humans to ally against them. Crysis is CryTek's follow up to their 2004 hit Far Cry, using a different story line, but crams in every new technology from Volumetric Clouds and Motion Blur to backlit leaves. The game will be using the next-gen, breathtaking engine - CryEngine 2 - which will probably be the first one to support DirectX 10 and 4.0. Shader Model.

The first version of the SDK came with tools and assets the modders require to get their own creations exported into the Sandbox2 Editor which allows them to create complete new levels and modifications with outstanding content.

In addition we also re-worked the installer to fix some problems and to make the whole installation process more comfortable to you. We also implemented the Softimage|XSI Mod Tool as separate zipped file that comes with example assets for you to work with.

errrrh yeah ? since its an SDK ofc they did, well this is an update to the 1.0 skd released som days ago, ENJOY MODDERS :D
