The next part of the popular multiplayer shooter series is coming - and, according to the developers, Unreal Tournament 2007 will bring a lot of fresh ideas and solutions. The game will use the breathtaking Unreal 3 Engine. It is confirmed that Bombing Run, Assault and Domination gameplay types will be no longer included, and will be replaced with a new massive battle Unreal Warfare mode. Other gametypes - Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, Team Deathmatch and Onslaught will remain intact. There will be also changes in weaponry and equipment - the Bio Rifle will be merged into Canister Gun, with the Mine Layer and Grenade Launcher. Link Gun and the mysterious AVRiL weapon will be added. The Minigun will be replaced with Unreal's Stinger. A number of vechicles, as well as improved AI, voice recognition and focus on gameplay has been also confirmed.

Rein responded that [UT3] was definitely on the way, and reiterated that finding a way to incorporate user created mods was causing the hold up. "So our job, when we finish the PS3 version, and weve taken a little break," said Rein, "is to sit down with Microsoft and to figure out how we can do Mods on their system."

TwwIX, I think you need to stop and look at all the game has to offer. People should not buy it for UT alone. The Unreal engines are the best on the market. Mod makers flock to it becuase of it's power and ease of use. There may be a lot of garbage mods out there but if you shift through the junk you will find a few gems.

Not only coz I am doing a mod for it, but omg it rocks graphically, and if they matched the gameplay of ut99 it will be the beez kneez :)
I dont know however if modding will be easier, I do know that if it is made easier, the output has to be more impressive!!!!!
that was a good game, and there are good mods for it,
ut 2003 is by far the worst in the series, and im quite fond of the design and style of ut 2007 (i prefer it to be less goofy than the designs from ut2003-2004)
also the game looks totally different because epic is the ones actually working alone on the game this time, whereas the previous games were co developed by a the canadian company known as digital extremes
