Spring PC game

this entire game is based on mods. you cant play alone unless you have bots.

Oh and what do I tick in the installation if I just want to play spring SP/LAN MP without mods?

Ummmm... I dont understand .... how do I play it? ok, I run it up then i get a list of 'scripts' and when I click one it crashes and says no mod files? please help!

Is this a mod to some game, or a stand-alone game?

I was just looking through and noticed that there is no mod for Complete Annihilation; imho the BEST mod made for Spring. The graphics are comparable to Supreme Commander, if not better, and the variety of units is staggering, along with their special effects ;-)

There is no single player campaign, in terms of playing single player, it's a little bit of a process, the game is made primarily for multiplayer. Basically you need to get the spring windows installer (the first link in the downloads page), in the installer get some mods and maps (BA and single player set are pretty good) and then join the game through the "TAS Client" Executable. It will force you to make a new account and log into the default server, but after that all you have to do is host a new battle (passworded is a good idea, the server is a multiplayer server), and add a bot (KAI is a decent one for BA).

If you have any problems, ask in the channel #newbies for help, it joins you up there when you log onto the lobby client by default, and people there are always happy to help.
