Developed by a team of former Westwood Studio members (Command & Conquer series). The game takes place before the New Hope movie (after the latest, third episode), and tells a story of increasing conflict between the Galactic Empire and the rebellion. It is said that the gameplay will concentrate more on the fights, battles and tactics, and less on economic parts. If you always dreamt of great star battles, conquering planets and such - this is probably a game for you.
V4.5 of Battlestar Galactica Colonial Wars, it contains all the data and fixes for the older versions of v4 & v4.1.
Fixes and New Additions to V4.5
V4, registered to us as a buggy mod release, so we got hold of the noted bugs and repaired them, so we thought, but hey we re-released v4 as v4.1 with the correct fixes but they wern't fixed it was just a mistake we had made, but now we bring you V4.5 the newest and latest version of our mod Battlestar Galactica Colonial Wars, this mod (i swear) contains these fixes below:

- Imperial side updated to include Recon, Light, Medium and Heavy based multiple groups of units (these are basically a set number of vehicles: tanks and walkers), for ground based combat.
- Custom GC: Editing to include additional asteroid system for Rebel tactical advantage (player only).
- Error corrections: Heroes now working again in custom GC. Spelling corrections for some units.
- Rebel side update to include Recon, Light, Medium and Heavy based mutiple groups of units (as Imperial Assault Forces but Alliance based ground vehicles).
- Additional Rebel ground squadron (3 fighters) of Viper MK2 Fighters.
- Additional Imperial ground squadron (3 fighters) of Cylon Old Raiders.

- All main stock ZC capital ships now have hangar hardpoints and launch fighters
- Skirmish space based Mining facilities improved to have four levels of upgrades instead of default two
- Extensive changes with custom GC
- Relentless Class SD added to Imperial side

I have to say this the mod is great but the star Wars ships ruins the mod very badly I don't like the fact that you guy left the star wars ships in there this should be only the Coloial versues the Cylons not D*mn mix of Star wars and battle Star Galactica. Hopefuly you guys will take out the Star wars Ships in the next update and leave only the BSG Ship and make the vipers and Raiders buildable.
For information there will be a total conversion of this universe which is bsg and it will only contain the cylons vs the colonials

does this have all the stuff from the other mods like 1,2, and 3 or do i have to download them first?
for some reason my viper 2s' don't fire weapons at anything? ???
I am aware of the ground based viper not firing (or its lack of) at anything other than infantry units. This is something which I'm not sure of the cause of.
Each version of this mod has been a self contained installation. There is no need to keep the previous version although a simple overwriting of the original files should be fine.
Thanks for the info, awsome mod can't wait for the awakening. Quick question though with Apollo and Starbuck, shouldn't Starbuck be piloting the Mark II Vipers and Apollo pilot the Mark VII Vipers like in the show?
In one episode of the very few I've watched I've only seen Apollo flying the MKII
Hey. I was wondering. I cant get this version to let me play as any of the heros. Adama, Cain, Apollo, Starbuck. And when i tried to install the FOC Update 1.1, it said that FOC was not found and that it couldnt install. Any suggestions?? I would really like to play as Cain or Adama.
