DDF: Side scrolling shooter Game New ingame effects, windwaker style! news

This is here to tell you, that my game is soon being upgraded to look wayy better, and first off id like to tell every one thanks for all the good comments, they motivate me alot and give me the drive i need to continue working on this project, plz continue to due so, also id like if you advertise my game a little bit, in forums or wherever you please, just spread the word!

anyways, let get to the point. the other day i was working on my game when i noticed how crappy the effects/explosions looked compared to the enemies and ships, well this gave me the idea to rehaul most of the sprites, but i left the same programming. i decided to choose a cartoonish style that still looked cool and matched the game (anything matches it better than those hideous flower puffs i had made) in my quest i remembered zelda WW, so i set out to mimmick that style. Now i started work on remaking the huds, pixeling them myself instead of 3D (thanks to you guys for making me feel so confident), and then eventually ill remake the lazers and projectiles as things progress, after that all i really need to do is copy the level files and make the extra levels.

In  other news, im also going to soon upgrade to multimedia fusion 2, the new engine will alow for smoother running games and will also give me alot more programming flexibility and effects to play with, (i.e. rotation, lens effects, ink effects and a wayy higher object limit so i can incorporate more particles)
