Hatred Hed is an indie game which we are developing for Xbox Live Arcade. It is a comical side scrolling gory shooter for the crazy masses. The story is about a skinny but insane 20 something year old guy, whose biologically mutant baby brother gets abducted by a heavily armed secret government team. Our hero discovers the abduction in his brothers bed room as its happening and decides to take action up on the matter, thus, all hell breaks loose.

The Game
Hatred Hed is an indie game which we are developing for PC (Windows) and hopefully Xbox Live Arcade.
The game is a cartoon based side scrolling shooter, which is going to be really gory and involve unique elements within its side scrolling gameplay. It will be developed from scratch and entirely in Microsoft's XNA game studio.
The Plot
The story is about "Hed" a skinny but insane 20 something year old guy, whose biologically mutant baby brother, gets abducted by a heavily armed secret government team. Our hero discovers the abduction in his brother's bed room as its happening and decides to take action up on the matter, thus, all hell breaks loose.
At the moment we are in early concept stages, basically having fun trying to pull some great ideas together to start work on a wonderful game.

It's like Dangerous Dave, only Dangerous Dave actually had a ring to it. Hatred Hed however doesn't have any ring to it. But in any case, who on earth plays a game for the title?
If the game is fun then I say to hell with the name :)
Hehe I remember Dangerous Dave. That game never even crossed my mind when we thought of Hatred Hed, hmmm :S
So err, why exactly was the name changed?
Hatred Hed just doesn't have the right look or sound to it, I think.
We all loved the name "Project Crakhed" aswell dude, but.... Unfortunately we had quite a few other people getting offended too by the name, and we also aknowledged as a team that this game would never see the daylight of a public release because of it. Thus, we decided to change the title. We thought of several new names, and we all agreed that "Hatred Hed" was our favourite and was the catchiest, so we stuck with it.

Looks great. I also hope you keep to the concept art. Since it'll be 2D, you can do it easily since they'll be sprites won't they?

lulz! joo spelt krackheidd wrung! Haha just kidding. Looks like a really fun game, especially if the proportions of the guy and the gun are the same as in the concept art, because it looks hilarious and would give the game a really great feel.
