Interesting - but a little overwhelming.
I have some minor fixes i want to enact, wouldn't call it a mod, but for example i noticed one of the mods lets you make all 4 scouts in a team snipers -good one - little things like that - any suggestions on how/where to start?
if your gonna swear then at least dont cut half of it out.

some mods come as files that you dont ope, you have to drag and drop some, just follow the instructions on the readme, thats probably what youre doing wrong
i dont normally download off relic forums, the best place that i know to download from is filefront, followed by this place.

go on that theres hunderds of mods, maps, skins and addons for dawn of war
its also very helpful with installation and most mods and maps come with an installer.
also if you wanted to make a mod it would be easier to advertise for a team so you have one person coding, one person mapping, one person modelling etc.
