With the largest fanbase of any game ever released and well over 50 awards to it's name, Half-Life by Valve Software is undoubtably one of the greatest games ever. Half-Life's great assets though is it's modding potential and as shown by brilliant titles such as Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress Classic, there is no question as to why more mods exist for Half-Life than any other game. If you havn't given this game a whirl and one of it's many mods you are definitely missing out!

Hello to all those following our progress and apologies for our long silence concerning the project. It's still alive, but we had some problems getting what we truly wanted on the HL1 engine and we're now exploring the possibility of using the HL2 Source engine to provide us better enviroment with more complex maps and models.
I've uploaded an image from new WIP stormtrooper to show were still going on

well if you are trying to get some of the older mods, they may not be steam friendly, so they wont work unless there is a patch...i use WON, and i plan on getting the steam so i can get all the great peices of work for half life on my PC

well it depends weither you use WON or STEAM...if you use WON, you just drag the mods folder into the half life folder, if you use steam, well i dont remember, though there should be TUTS for the STEAM mod installation...
as for half life, the game shall have a place in my heart even though postal 2 is the game im playing like every day now =)
Well, I run steam. =\ I don't really know what to do. and there are tons of the non-.exe ones I want to try that I don't know how..
well, i got some of the .exe files to work. just made sure my Steam wasnt running at all and then executed. but as far as the patches, or the folders and files instead of the exe is beyond me.
