With the largest fanbase of any game ever released and well over 50 awards to it's name, Half-Life by Valve Software is undoubtably one of the greatest games ever. Half-Life's great assets though is it's modding potential and as shown by brilliant titles such as Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress Classic, there is no question as to why more mods exist for Half-Life than any other game. If you havn't given this game a whirl and one of it's many mods you are definitely missing out!

Hello to all those following our progress and apologies for our long silence concerning the project. It's still alive, but we had some problems getting what we truly wanted on the HL1 engine and we're now exploring the possibility of using the HL2 Source engine to provide us better enviroment with more complex maps and models.
I've uploaded an image from new WIP stormtrooper to show were still going on

Your wrong. If anyone has everyread the history of HL 1, you would know that it used the quake 1 engine.
Anyways, this game is the best and will always be my favorite game(other than HL2).
Look i know what people say they say it's the quake engnine but it's really not it's the quake 2 engine the graphics look like they were taken from quake 2 anyway same with the engine if you guys think this uses the quake engine than your wrong it's the quake 2.

Without Quake 1 (yes it does suck, but Quake 2 pwnz HL and Quake 1) there would be no HL.
when i play half-life the AI doesnt work, for example when you get off the tram in the begining the security gaurd is animated but just stands there. i tried to fix it with the console and and notarget is off but that dont work. somebody give me an answer, I LOVE THIS GAME!:cry:
