Gooold.
Will it have a point in the game, or it is just for visuals? In that case, it is not a player-buildable building, right? Else it lacks TC.

They are eye candy objects that aren't buildable by the players, but are place-able in the map editor ("Atlas"). They can be destroyed though, giving the player a bunch of Gold (Metal) as "loot."

Yes.

"Usually, when a pyramid was constructed, the top part, or capstone (also called top-stone), was the last thing to be placed on it. It was considered the most important part of the pyramid and was made of special stone or even gold. The capstone was usually highly decorated."

While the shadows system can be improved still there are shadows in the above pic. The sun is at a high altitude though, so the shadows appear almost directly below the objects.

Im pretty sure the top of the pyramids were made out of polished limestone, which when reflecting direct sunlight, appears almost white not gold. Just my input

Some eye candy objects for the game. What treasures lay within these monumental tombs?
