I love it!
Hmm... for the moment, they look quite empty... but, NICE WORK MATES!
Indeed. I hope that we get to see some sailors a little later on. Nice work so far though.
Wow, they look amazing! :D
Just add some things in them and they will be perfect! :)
GHOST FLEET! ARGH!
They all look really similar. Nicely done.
The ships look cool. Nice work! ;)
I would be sooooooo fantastic if ships had a crew. Is that posible?
nice work!!!
what types of ships are they? i doubt they're all military boats.
There's a merchant ship, rite at the back...two actually. the ones in the middle are the war ships and the smaller vessels are fishing boats. :)
We plan to prop units on deck so it will look less empty.
Nice work, will they be like in rise and fall where you can put troops on the decks to fight other ships
Wow, didn't know celts had such an beautiful navy... =O
Thanks for the comments guys, those ships were created by me for 0AD. I’m not on the official team, that’s how opensource this project is! The decks will have sailors, and the sails and shields will be different from ship to ship.
Please! Don't make one of the few bad things AoE did. EMPTY SHIPS!
ADD CHARACTERS TO BOATS, DON'T MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE PHANTOM SHIPS
That's easy to say, but by adding animated crew to the decks the game will take a big performance hit, requiring a tough ship build limit. Essentially this is Graphics vs Gameplay - that's why games like AoE had empty ships. We'll try our best though ;)
I don't think they need a crew however things like crates and spilled fruit on the merchants ships would be awesome, and things like spools of rope.
