Looks interesting, but multi-platform development is never good. --

Pshaw, this looks like a much better zombie game! -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

how about no more zombie stuff... I think the industry needs to realize that after 10 years of "zombie-isms" it has become a watered down genre. I say get more original, but thats just my 2 cents take it or leave it :/ --

You're kidding me, right, Hatebreed? Nothing will just "die down" here. Resident Evil 4 is riding high with high critic acclaim and large boosts of sales from all over the globe. This shows that there's still plenty of things to do with this genre. Even Hollywood sees this. You just have to know what you're doing. "Stubbs the Zombie" is being developed by Wideload games, helmed by one of the masterminds behind Halo. It looks to be a hell of a game, seeing as how this guy wanted to make a game like this for a while, so it's obvious he's going to pour a lot of time and energy into the project to the best that he can see fit. You can complain about it all you want, but zombies definitely aren't a watered-down genre, no matter how much you want to think that. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

That would be Alex Seropian. He left Bungie just after the release of Halo, and during development of Halo 2. he was the founder of bungie, and started it all with Gnop, a Mac version of Pong. Then he met Jason Jones, and the Bungie began there. It kinda seems to me like Jason Jones was the mastermind behind all the Bungie greats, including Halo, and Alex was just the business end of it. I'd still bet money on this new game though. Alex is still a game dev at heart, and knows what's up with games. |
