I am close to finishing my exams (only 2 left, though 2 that I have most fear against -_-) meaning that summer, music festivals and lots of free time is nearing.. This summer I want to try out working a bit harder and make some decent 3D models to put up on Turbosquid or other similar sites if there are any and try to make some small money through the knowledge and skill I have learned, and just to simply try out how it is - selling your 3D models..
Even though I don't like jumping before events, I am quite interested in hearing about your experiences with selling/buying 3D models through Turbosquid and/or similar sites if there are any..
P.s Sorry if my english skills doesn't come to your liking :)
- Cheers!

Never had anything wrong with it, and that was even before it had these extra quality ratings now available. Most recent mesh was great, not quite what I was looking for in accuracy, but it cost $5, and was well made that it was easy to modify.
So far only used turbosquid, I have seen some other sites selling the exact same models, some cheaper others not, some could be from turbosquid too I guess, but been a bit careful with those, as you can't be certain if a mesh is being re-sold by a completely different 'author'.

Hi from TurboSquid,

First of all, I'm glad you're considering selling more at TurboSquid. The demand for 3D models just keeps going up and up.

I can tell you that selling models at TurboSquid is great, but I'm sure you'd like to hear some unbiased opinions. I recommend that you visit our Artist Forum and talk to the artists who are selling there now. I'm new to this forum so I can't include the URL, but you can find it at TurboSquid dot com /Forum/Index.cfm/stgAct/ThreadList/intForumID/1140. (Note that you have to have models for sale at TurboSquid to get into this forum.)

Some of our artists make a living selling at TurboSquid, and they are often very willing to discuss how this is done. I wish you the best of luck with your exams, and with your sales at TurboSquid.

Michele
