Hello guys, I've only been a member of this site for a few months and have already learned a lot. At the moment, I am a 12 year old kid and loves tech(I've already built my first custom PC and know a lot about specs). I wanna learn a few stuff from the pros in the site.

Here are a fewthings that I want to know:

  1. I wanna know what game engine I should use
  2. Graphics tools (for Android devices) I should use
  3. Any recommended programming languages I should learn(I know a bit of Java)?

I ccurrently am developing an action, adventure, platformer game with my friend(I'm the main dev but he draws all the assets on his tablet but not a graphic tablet). The graphics will be as good as we can do cause my friend is a great artist and wins a few local contests. I am considering using Construct Classic cause it's free and good for commercial use plus I'm using it for Windows only development. I dream in the future to have my own company making games but a few family members say it is not a profitable business.

1. Any engine which fits the most the genre you would like to make and the platform(s) you would like to release it to.
For instance: If you wanted to make a 2D RPG for Windows only, RPG Maker would be a good choice;
If you wanted to make a Visual Novel for multiple platforms, Ren'py would be a good choice.

3. Knowing/Learning the language(s) used by the engine you want to use (RPG Maker uses Ruby, Unity3D uses C# and Javascript, etc.)
