Ok, well this is my 1000th post, and I'm going to dedicate it to telling you the happenings of the last week if you are un-aware.

Ok firstly, to catch up, have a read of these following News paper Articles:

Wednesday the 8th of September 2004

Now, most of you know, the people they are talking about, are my Uncle Mark and Little cousin Nakita. So, they are my family. Anyway, I've been at the Hospital here in Melb for 3 days now just sitting there with Jesse, keeping him company, buying him toys and lollies and clothes, because he has nothing anymore.

Hey, I swear to God, this little guy is a fucking fighter. The hardest thing was being there when he found out about his Daddy and Little sister 'Kita'. My Uncle was the one to tell him thank God, but it was just heart breaking for everyone. "Is daddy dead" were the words he wispered after my Uncle Tony explained that he was a very lucky little boy because he got out of the fire and the Doctors and Nurses fixed him up but they couldnt help daddy and kita.

I went and saw him again today for most of the day and my God, he is bouncing around the room and buzzing and giving the nurses a hard time! Took him to the play room they have up there.. and he was making this robot and looked at me with a little tear in his eye and said "I miss my daddy". I nearly balled myself .. but have to be strong for the little fella. I just gave him a cuddle and said; "I know mate, I know". Then he went back to playing with his new toys.

Hey he loves his new toys doesnt he! I got him this slinky dog (from Toy Story) gumball despencer today! Hes eyes lit up bright and big when he saw it! Then he was like searching through my bags "Any more presents?" he said. I had a little chuckle and that was real good for us all.

Hes healing pretty good too. He has burns on his arms, and his head, and hands and the other day they took his hand bandages off and he was like "Hey I got my hands back now!". Today he had his head bandage cut down to give his burns a little air and stuff like that but his forarms like, not bad, but still sore for him. On Monday the burns people are gonna check his head see if he needs some skin graphs and if not, he is going to be airlifted to Albury (where the house fire happened and his home) for the funeral which is now on Monday.

Tell you what though, Australia has been good to him. I mean with all this shit going on overseas at the moment.. well lets just say it's not here because this tragedy is a little close to home and peoples hearts. A woman set up a Trust fund in Jesse's name and 1000's of people have been donating to it as well as giving him a new start with funiture, clothes, toys, everything! I know most of you probably dont care, but if you watch the news tonight, theres a number you can call if you want to help him out too! Even if its just a dollar, or a stuffed bear, or a puppy dog. Doesnt matter what channel you watch, its going to be on due to the latest developments in the case. So ABC, 7, 9, 10 and National TV to.

Now to the grotty stuff, excuse me if I get a little bit carried away here, but yeah, I'm sure you will understand.

As most know, from reading those above articles, there was speculation that my uncle may have died before the fire, therefore sparking a big investigation into the cause and what not. Well yesterday afternoon, about 4pm we got a call from the Police telling us that it has been confirmed, he was shot in his sleep, before the fire was started. Now me, my brother and my uncle were at the pub that time getting an early tea in. We just hit the roof. I tell you what, we were angry, and we still are angry. I mean, who in their fucking right mind, would kill a guy who had no enemies, and was trying to raise 2 beautiful kids by himself, and he was doing well with it for that matter, AND THEN BURN HIS FUCKING HOUSE DOWN WITH THE KIDS INSIDE! I mean for fucks sake. If you got a problem with a man, take him down the bush and shoot him, not while hes sleeping with his 4 year old daughter by his side and then set the fucking house on fire to try cover it up! I mean, fucking hell!

No suspects have been put yet but there have been a few calls to crime stoppers regarding it all and a few houses have been raided. The coppers will get them, no doubt about that, and I sure hope they get to them before we do, coz I'll string him up by his balls, then tie him to a chair which is bolted to his house floor, then I'll set his house on fire. (I wont really, but yeah, its good to let some anger out).

Anyway, to finish my 1000th post rant, I'll just say, Jesse is gonna be good. Hes gonna be more then good, hes 110% at the moment and there are alot of family around that love him. It's not a known fact at who he will live with yet, but it will be an uncle or aunt. Just not sure which one. They haven't done the will opening thing yet.

First of all, congrats on the 10K. It was well earnt.

Next, its good to hear how well your little cuz is going. Must've been hard for you all to break the news to him. I'd tell you to try to stay strong, but I know you will anyway. The media said that your Uncle was ringing the children's mother at the time when the fire started.. boy did they get that one wrong. Shows you how far they extrapolate when they don't have enough information.

Now ForK, try to be cool with what I'm gonna say, but don't do nothing stupid like form a lynch mob. Don't take justice into your own hands, because I have seen first hand how it can go wrong and the wrong person gets harmed, or worse. Let the legal system, no matter how buggered it is, take its route first. Ok.

I'm glad to hear that Jesse's recovering well; does he know what a celebrity he is around here now?

Ya, im glad to hear its all workin out well for ya.. And frosty is right, don't try to take justice into your hands. People have done this and it only causes problems. The legal systems will find em and that bastard will be taken care of

Yeah he was a top bloke. I mean, he wasnt rich, or well off. He was a surviver, with 2 litts kids, bringing them up and was doing one heck of a job. He had no enemies and lots of friends so it's kind ahard for us all to believe that this could happen, but it has happened so now we jsut want the police to find the person, put em away.

2 counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. Hes gonna go for at least 30 years.

About the shooting.. that's disturbing.. and quite hard to understand; why the hell would someone shoot a person without any problems? What's going on with the world..

Oh, I feel so sorry for your uncle and his kids. It just sounds so terrible why someone would break into a house and shoot innocent people, although it has happened in the past. Some maniac coming out of nowhere and shooting up people to take care of his/her own problems.

Let's hope the crook gets apprehended and justice is served

It said in the paper today that the state was taking custody, but the family wants Jesse to stay with them, and that this is reciprocated by Jesse. But it was in the paper, so who knows.
