Which art style should I go with? Thread

Because people don't work for free, I can't afford an artist. The good news is that I can draw, the bad news is that people don't like it. I figure that maybe it's because I have no real discipline. Well I'm working on fixing that. My next game is going to be cartoonish in style, which I feel is a style I can work with. I drew a number of the same illustrations but with different approaches to them. Click the link and zoom in to the regular size. This is important because this game is going to be made for PC, so what you see is the output of what it will look like on the screen.

Which one do you believe people will like? Is there one style that will look good with another?

No red eyes.
A and C no.
D is too bright. J is too pale.

Dunno, others are too similar. Maybe point out differences.
B seems good one. But there are others that are ok and its hard to see what is difference (there is slight but..) .

Other than that, style looks fine. Quality of drawing.

I would agree with tigerija on a few of those, and in my opinion, B does look good, and K and L both look pretty interesting. I like how the hair is shaded in K, and I love how the overall shading is done in L, even though I don't really agree with the hair. So I guess I'm kinda in-between, but I hope that helps, at least.

And I don't know why people wouldn't like your art style. It looks good to me, too.

Well I shouldn't have mentioned that in a way that it sounded general. It was actually a group of people I trust. I never received anything specific, they just said they didn't like it, and like a fool I didn't ask them why and just accepted it. Only now I realize that yeah, I can draw but for the sake of being safe, I'm trying to improve myself in whatever little thing I lack.

Any reason why? Because she's had those eyes since 2007, so I consider them her natural eye color.

Aside from that, thanks for your input guys. It really helps me out.

D is my favourite. I don't think you need the black edging and I really like the hard shading (which is used on others).
