We have almost 56 thousand members registered... and yet we currently (at time of writing) have 4 registered users on the forums. What the? A similar forum (OCAU) has 60,000 registered users and currently 335 online! And it is Australian, not even international. Its hard to discuss mod ideas here when it takes 24 hours for anyone to even post a reply. Is the download server meant to turn things around? |

Because alot of people choose not to take part in the forum community for whatever reason, i've seen this on alot of websites. Check the online users on the front page (at the bottom) that has far more than the forum online users, a hell lot of people browse the site, but very few of them decide to become part of the forum. *me shrugs We're a happy little group ! -- Nothing. |

Taking that it is 5AM in the morn in the US, and most of the forumers are American, its pretty understandable. Well actually, saying that, there are only about 30 regular forum users :o |

Holy shit PF. Post more man, don't do this come-back-and-make-2-posts-and-leave-for-6-months crap. The reason nobody posts on our forums is because you're all spammers, and many of you type like crack addicts with down syndrome. Maybe if we had some maturity and order and structure to it, and maybe some quality content, people would be more attracted to it. But as it is, it's just us regulars. |

it is normally regulars, but also i know a lot of times people get discouraged because of replies to their ideas and such. some of the times they cant take the critisism and some times people are down right mean. i think that scares off some people that are newer to the forums. other then that i think its probably people didnt see the need or want to post in the forums. i didnt for the longest time, i started just to get in the community more, see more of whats out there. also i think the high number of members compared to the low number of forum users is also because a lot of account are either dead, or are people that signed up because their mod leader wanted them too so they could add them to the team list of their mod |

i agree, a lot of the newer users get scared off and many only register and then never visit again. I am a member of many forums but this is the only one i visit reguarly. --
