What is your favorite sandwich? Thread

I love all 54ndw!ch3s, in fact my friends and I talk about them all the time at school, but my favorite kind is the grilled cheese. What is your favorite sandwich?

And here's some facts about the sandwich:
-The sandwich was invented in 1762 by John Mantogue (the fourth Earl of Sandwich) at London's Beef Steak Club.
-He gambled for hours at a time at that restaraunt, and sometimes he wouldn't get up even for meals.
-One day, he instructed his valet to bring his meat in between two slices of bread
-His friends started ordering their meals "Sandwich style".
-The sandwich came to the US in 1827 when a cookbook included a ham sandwich
-By the late 1890s, bakeries sold bread pre-sliced. Before then, slices were usually just torn off of the loaf.

Mmm that's a tough one, turkey sandwich's are pretty good

Ice cream sandwich's are a close second

Does anyone have any special sandwich recipes? I do: it's called the cyberdemon sandwich. Late one summer night when I was young, while taking a break from DooM, I was searching for a midnight snack, but all the snacks were gone. So I made a double decker sandwich, each layer containing a slice each of swiss, american, and provolone cheese, 2 strips of bacon, some lettuce, some mayonaise, some turkey, and just a little hot sauce. Delicious, relatively fast to make, and filling;)

I like pizza style sandwiches(tomato, cheese and some meat) and then some heat to it and voilá, it's ready to eat.

How about an archvile sandwich?

Grilled cheese is good. So is roast beef with mustard.

But the best? SARDINES WITH MUSTARD!

Burnt (not fully burnt just slightly) Bacon whith sauce on toasted bread

A good chip buttie does me fine heaps of chips inbtwwen 2 pieces of bread and butta with lots of viniger and tomato sauce!! legend food could eat at least 10 of em in 1 go :P YUM!!

chip butterie is awful

i would have to say Pastrami on Rye with swiss cheese, put it on the griddle and melt the cheese and toast the bread...... mmmmmmm

Chips are what we call "French fries", keep in mind

I know that.

In europe Chips=fries, Crisps=American Chips

even if it wasn't fries, its still disgusting

I wish they would make a grilled cheese smilie for this forum.
