Metro 2033 for sure, I loved it and I've played it for many, many hours.

Definetly my favorite game so far, I always felt like I was the character as if I was the person experiencing everything that was going on
in the story of the game, I loved the Story, Soundtrack, and Art overall of that game.
I totally agree with you, that gave had an environment like no other and was one of the few linear games that I actually enjoyed. Almost the same goes for Metro Last Light but the environment took a different turn I feel but it was still just as enjoyable.
Then we have the Crysis games which are known for their beautiful graphics, which I can agree with also.
