I know what spam is, don't get me wrong. But when I tried to, together with a friend, submit a first blog entry on her IndieDB account, we got an error saying something like "You used a Spam Word, etc." and the account got banned. We didn't do anything except mentioning that she has started let's plays on War of the Roses and linking to the videos. What is wrong with that, and what are these so called "Spam Words"? |

unfortunately spam is a major problem and we absolutely *HATE* spam so we are super aggressive about stopping and deleting it (hence why you shouldn't ever see spam on this site, they should goto other sites if they want to do that crap). Because of this we cannot reveal what spam words are but I can unban your friends account. Typically speaking however words like "roses" might trigger the catch because of spammers trying to sell flowers and that kind of thing -- Scott Reismanis |

As another note, html links may flag as spam, just for being html links or if you copied your text from word, it may try to preserve the formatting with html span tags, this might also trigger the system for a false flag so always best draft your text in notepad and copy and paste into the html code function of the text editor.
