Play Spec Ops: The Line. No, seriously, play it. NOW! It's probably still on sale on Amazon for crying out loud! I wish more games had balls like this game does, paired with some of the best writing, mechanics, and level design that's been seen this side of linear shooters.

I was trying to play Xenogears...
Until I realized that the game won't save on my PS2 memory card. -.-

But I'm steadily making my way through Valkyrie Profile 2.

Minus well start it... Why didn't the ending disappoint you? What made the ending, as you say "Lovable"?

Thanks, but I never wander the internet without my flame-retardant suit and squirt guns anyway.

Ok

**MAJOR MASS EFFECT 3 SPOILERS BELOW**

I just don't see anything wrong with it. It was actually good to see Shepard beaten down, and lose, pretty much. He had become way too invincible, or at least that's what I thought. I also don't care that they didn't explain what happened to -everyone-, because it leaves it open for future games(Which BioWare has said that there WILL be). I know a lot of people have complained that they could have had a dozen endings or so, because ME3 was the end, but that's not really true. BioWare has confirmed there will be more ME games, they also said a while back that "It might be a good idea to hang onto your ME3 saves", implying that you'd need them for future games. With the endings they gave, the ME universe is now more open than ever. If they do games that come after ME3, the setting will be completely different than the other games. If they want to go back to that old setting, they can do that too, with prequels(I'd love to see a game about the First Contact war). Only parts of the end I didn't like, was 1, the kid, 2, the weird bit where the Normandy flees(And how did the squad I had on earth get there?), and 3, the fact that the destruction ending didn't show things like, the destruction of the Geth, and even the allies ships. I've only seen the destruction ending mind you, and I don't want to know what happens in the others. But still, the weird stuff in the end can be explained if the indoctrination theory is true(Which I was actually expecting for the entire game). Really, the only way I think I'll like the new ending BioWare's making for ME3, is if the indoctrination theory is true. Otherwise, it'll probably just end up being anti-climactic.

I'd just like to say briefly on the topic of Mass Effect 3 -- that based on the endings being as they are (since the destroy the fricking Mass Relays, and after the Arrival DLC I think we all know what happens when a Mass Relay is destroyed), I don't see any sequels being set anywhere near your time frame, so there may be little to no impact from your decision, actually. Also, the "save your ME3 saves" was more of a hint to the singleplayer DLC they have coming up. Considering there's already strong rumors of a "The Truth" DLC on the horizon, it's likely that more SP DLC will also pop up. Considering they also completely and utterly cut out the Omega sections of ME3, that will also either be DLC or casually ignored by their writers.

Now, back to the topic at hand...

I am presently playing Minecraft when I can, and just beat Hydrophobia a little while ago (Act 1-2 is brilliant. Act 3 is like a separate game with only half the level of quality).

**More spoilers*

I didn't play the Arrival DLC...But I'm assuming destroying a relay would simply cut the system off from all other systems. I also don't see how future ME games could not take ME3 into consideration, seeing how there would possibly be little to no computers, ships, or planetary travel. And yes, I'd expect an Omega DLC as well - Though I really don't like the idea of having post-game DLC for ME3. Since, ya know, Shepard kinda died. That was actually the worst part of the ending, I thought. The popup at the end of the credits about how "Shepard has become a legend by destroying the reapers. Continue that legend through downloadable content", then it zaps you back to the Normandy. Pretty anti-climactic.

Cool, how are you liking Minecraft so far? I didn't think you liked that game...

Destroying a Mass Relay usually destroys all planets surrounding it. In the Arrival DLC, Shepard is forced to sacrifice several Batarian worlds just to keep the Reapers from arrriving early. Also, the fact that there would be little to no technology is actually why I say they'd have to move it so far ahead that what you did doesn't even matter. It took over 2500 years for Humanity to get where it was in the first Mass Effect, so even Liara will be dead by the time a game in the future would be, unless they somehow reveal that some technology has -not- been destroyed.

As to Minecraft... it's fine. It's better than I anticipated but in some ways it still honestly just doesn't feel finished. It's not like TF2 where they started with a finished base package and added on. In Minecraft's case, I'd say its still in closed beta at this point.

**ME3 Spoilers continued...**

I don't think it destroyed all technology - It destroyed all synthetics, which I'm pretty sure means VIs, AIs, ect. Not necessarily ALL technology. Plus, it probably wouldn't take as long to reinvent things as it would be to make them at first. Of course, most documentation would probably be stored digitally, so....That could be a problem. But still, my point is, that I think the endings were all similar because they were setting it up for a sequel series(They are definitely making more ME games).

And yes, I have similar feelings on Minecraft - It does have a lot of problems, but it's still entertaining enough that I play it.

Well, I don't really have that much free time, but when I do, I usually play Amnesia Custom Stories and Alan Wake and I know that some of you might find this rather amusing, but when I'm actually really bored, I give it a go to Minecraft as well. It's a good way to, if I may say, "unbore" yourself, when you feel that you're melting in your chair.

I'm getting into Dustforce again, trying to tackle some of the harder gold stages! I also would like to finish Almond mode on Noitu Love 2 sometime, and when I'm feeling up for it, play through the rest of Lone Survivor. I have Dear Esther halfway finished too. Lots of games to play! but also lots of games to make! ...x_x

Yeah except I can't get the  online to work because it claims my e-mail is already in use on GameSpy. To which I gotta say, better not considering there's no bloody reason for it to be in use right now. Also, DLC activation for GotY has been... a confusing thing so far.
