I really love the look of MYST but the game itself is very dull. It's probably safe to say that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will have some of the coolest looking in-game environments ever. Same with Far Cry, DOOM 3 and HL2. I’ve been playing through TRON 2.0 as fast as I can because I can’t wait to see the next level. The levels are brilliant!! For anyone who hasn’t played it, I highly recommend the gold demo (http://www.tron20.net). Morrowind, Mafia, and Vice City also all have remarkable in-game worlds for sheer size and things to explore. Max Payne 2 has a lot of interactivity with environmental objects which lends realism to the experience. Call of Duty is without a doubt the best WWII shooter I have ever played ~ and part of that has to do with the fact that the atmosphere and environmental renderings are top notch. Tron 2.0 has its own unique graphics style, and I must admit, I like it. I have to download the Deus Ex demo one of these days, I've got the first one, but haven't finished it, the first level is too dark for me to see around, and using cheats to get past the first level don't work. -- 98% of the internet population has a Myspace. Have you played TRON 2.0 deathmatch online? I don't have Tron myself, but I've read reviews and seen quite a lot of screenshots. If I saw it in a shop and had the money I'd buy it. Unfortunatly we don't have ANY game shops down here, so I'd have to order it online. -- 98% of the internet population has a Myspace. I'm probably going to be the only one who mentions this, but I think the Descent 2 & 3 has the coolest in-game worlds. Descent 2: (1996) Descent 3: (1999) And for those who don't know, Interplay has decided to re-release Descent 3/Descent 3 Mercenary Dual Jewel after years of being discontinued due to some demand in the Interplay forums. - Edited By RatoN On Fri 12th, Dec 2003 @ 3:27:07am |

Descent!! I remember playing that years ago. At the time, it was freakin' awesome. Same with Mech Warrior. Nowadays, those games are too simple/basic for me compared to the new games. Best in-game worlds that I've played: TRON 2.0 In-game worlds that I know will kick major arse: Far Cry: February 15th 2004 |
