Warhammer Mod Thread

Title:Chaos Wastes (or something like that)
Genre: Fantasy (Warhammer Fantasy)

Storyline: Well if you don't know anything about warhammer here we are... okay pretty much there are four demon gods of chaos Tzeentch, Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle. Now in Warhammer there is and everlasting war between these gods and their followers of chaos. so it would be cool to have like those 4 teams and just have a huge deathmatch between those people.

Basic Idea: More kils= More credits
More credits= better units

...now i know someone would probably have to talk to games workshop about the idea but they are pretty cool so i dont think it would be a problm making the game... well anyway i know the details are kinda sketchy but feel free to offer suggestions this would just be a cool mod to play.

What engine would it be for? are we talking first person shooter or real time strategy or what? either way it sounds good, you don't get many fantasy style mods. if you need a mapper I suggest you contact arvey-Haynos

probably for hl2 and there isnt 1 WH fantasy mod

Actually there are at least 5 mods for HL2 based on Games Workshop properties.

... tell me a warhammer fantasy mod, im not saying there isnt one but the only popular ones are 40k

there are plenty of 40ks but like you said there are very few if any fantasy mods.

yeah holy crap i mean look at fantasy... okay heres a challenge go out and get the book Daemonslayer (probably at any library but its only like 6 bucks in stores) and erad it and tell me you like 40k better.

Actually, I prefer not to read books based on board games, but you're right--now that I think about it, most of the GW mods are for 40K, not fantasy. I would expect quite a bit of flak for being WarHammer based though. Also, do you have any more detailed ideas than that?

in the mod rivalspecies for hl1 i made a map based on the book rs_ca_hydra_cordatus

and what is your goal??
just another morpg or mmorpg or something new??

i can join as a scripter/mapper and if i work on my skinning skills i could do that too if your interested??
