Hello
I'm new here, so please forgive me if I make some common mistake. I'm not a native speaker so don't get scared by my language mistakes.
I came here to find my dream game, but unfortunately I couldn't find it. It's quite strange that with so popular nodays voxels, nearly everyone makes only creative-sandbox games.
So I decided to create it myself, at least on paper.
I have experience in creating pen&paper games, successfully suggesting ideas to large mod, creating maps (that still get used after few years), some exp at 3D modeling, and I can draw (good enough to visualize my ideas). My main drawback is that I can't code, which makes making game alone impossible.
I'll post my whole idea in this thread. I don't worry about someone "borrowing" ideas or even whole concept; because my main goal is to get it created, not necessary lead the creation myself. I'd be more than happy to join existing team (that works on similar project) as designer, modeler and level creator, leaving leading (and coding) to someone more experienced.
It don't even need to be separate game - mod could do the job, if the game include most important features.

In short it's Multiplier voxel Sci-fi PVP FPS, with elements of building, constructing, strategy, economy, survival, car race and few more genres. That's quite vague description which sounds like all those "mix everything together and it should stun with pure amount of content". That's not the point - all those features (well... most) are there for some reason. The game combines few main elements:
  • Competition - your main opponents are other players, wherever you fight by killing or by building
  • Persistency - the world constantly changes and never resets
  • Creation - shape your tools and use them, both in real time on the battlefield

I still work at design documentation, so don't take it as final version. I'll keep it updated with new details and pictures.
I'll include some comments using green italic. You don't need to read it, but it explain why I decided something.
Some parts will be marked as FAR FUTURE or NOT SO FAR FUTURE to indicate that part in not required, but would be nice to have one day.
Some parts are marked as (WIP) which mean they are even more unfinished than rest of document.
I'm open to suggestions and constructive criticism, so feel free to share your opinion.
Remember that I'm looking for criticism also about document design - usage of colours, separators, order, language, ect.

Hey, it is sad that you don't know exactly how to program your dream game, so if I can lend a hand of assistance here with my tutorial series, should you wish to learn/follow them : Forum.unity3d.com(Like-Minecraft!)

As for your ideas, I have been developing something like this for a while now with the creation of weapons out of voxels, online shooter etc.

Also I drew a large part of inspiration for my project from this game (if it makes you feel like your dream game has been half made) : Buildandshoot.com
