hi again some of my games apper not to work

one is dawn of war which says spooge error no direct x could be located and will not run

and the other is republic commando as i try to go to multiplayer and yes this is the orginal shuts down and returns to destop

It's a Dawn of War thing.

Make sure you have DirectX 9 installed. Dawn of War requires it.

Are you using Nvidia GFX cards, because there are still some games that have issues with vista and nvidia drivers.

Doing a google search I found that issues arise with spooge errors in Dawn of War with people using 7800GTX and 8800GTX cards on Vista.

But in some cases, you need to have an older configuration installed - UT2004 is the same; doesn't run without Dx9.0c installed separately.

werent you the one who said vista was great and you had no problems with it whatsoever mr drone? O.o

(srry just had to say it :s)

and alot of games have problems with vista, neverwinter nights 2 gives a blue screen of death at my friends laptop(with vista installed)

vista seems not to regonise my video card and says it is not vista worthy but maybe because i havn't installed all of the vista service pack

and the DOW spooge error sounds funnier

yeah i didnt read the entire topic, the topic was about the problem, he didnt even googled it, i found it in 5 seconds :s
