This overlooked bug could lead to abuse of the system imo -- < insert subject games here >

Albeit the abuse, it doesn't mean a mod shouldn't be allowed to use the system. There's no problems in building up the Help Wanted page, especially if someone is in need of looking for someone asap. The mods that are unprofessional just won't get that help. If guests are able to make posts in any news post or a mod page, then it should be fine if an unauthorized mod to make Help Wanted posts, imo. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

So are you saying you want unauthed crap like this plaguing help wanted requests? No thanks. -- < insert subject games here >

Well, maybe it can be an option that if the mod is not authed and instead dejected for whatever reason (like up for deletion), so are the Help Wanted requests. But like I mentioned before...

What are you saying, there are unauthorized PROFESSIONAL mods? -- < insert subject games here >

Yes. Just because they've yet to be authorized by Moddb doesn't make them unprofessional. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

I think the fact that a mod is yet to be authorised should be the first clue that would put someone off giving them that help. Nevertheless, I agree that unauthorised mods shouldn't have access to this, simply because the service is for bona fide mods and not just any old person who wants to wind a webmaster, for example. |

un-authorized mods should have access to this feature because it will give them time to build up. If you dont like unprofessional help requests just ignore them... |

Not to mention, there are plenty of bona fide mods not yet a part of the Moddb community, although it's always a case of wondering why they didn't do it beforehand. Some people register their already-completed mods. It's just that people shouldn't get all prejudice about other mods that they know nothing about. Let them have their Help Wanted requests. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

Yeah, people might not have as much modding expierence as you Cheapalert, i know you have more expierence then probably anyone here but you should respect the noobs and give them a chance. Don't bash their mods if they arent as good as yours |
