Troys Last Stand Thread

(again reguarding my big mod thread)

Troys Last Stand (TLS) is about the city of troy and the long fought wars. It will be very accurate to the book/movie/history?. It will be based on either the ut2k4 engine or bf2.... it will be multiplayer...

sounds cool... but I trid to make a mod similar but about egyptians and they denied it :/ I dunno why though

I'd suggest doing a lot more research on the war before you go about making a mod for it

what else is there to say? almost everybody knows what happened...

You could go through a summary, because not everyone here has taken History. A lot of people don't know more about the war other than there was a wooden horse involved.

then id like to start out by saying....if you really wanna know what happened, watch the movie and read a book

Along time ago...when there was lotsa greek mythology and people worshiped many gods cause they liked em, there was a guy named Paris, who lived in troy. He adored and really liked a princess or something named helen of the greek people...so he kidnapped her and took her to troy, the greeks were outraged and said we want her back, after paris said no leave me alone"(not acctual words) they were all, lets kill him and destroy troy, in the movie at this point, they called for achillies, who was a great warrior. he and paris older brother fought and parisis older brother died. the war went on for a quiet a while (<-----not the focus of the mod) and yush that is all

i really can't see this mod going anywhere. you should stick with desert graves.

Precisley what I was going to ask. Mods that are started based on a spur of the moment idea tend not to go anywhere.
