Trojan Horse Viruses. Why? Thread

Dang i just scanned my Computer and it found 8 trojans. It coud kill 6 right off and it put 1 in a virus Vault but it could do nothing to rid my computer of the 8th Trojan... This makes me mad i mean ah nevermind it just sucks...luckly its in some File where no one touches it or wants too. But the trully dumb thing is it removed 2 other viruses from the same folder.. This is just agrivating

hmm that wont work its not harmfull unless some idiot opens it...It will do more harm than good

Try to delete it manualy. aome times that works.

I heard that if you copy a virus into the folder in your start menu called "Startup" it will automatically get cleaned out next time you turn on your computer... cuz it scans everything in there really well.

Why make a Trojan when ther is windows?

Do you download a lot of stuff for the Internet? Ther you find a lot of junk this days. I like it better the old days when you just have to worry about boot viruses.

The internet seems to be the only way to get trojans. Unless its peer to peer over a lan that at one time or another had the internet.

thats pretty bad if you've had all of these trojans all along and are just waiting until now to rid yourself of them. If you've recieved all of these recently then i suggest you stop going to these "sites" you've been going to.

at one time i had the trojan.Sinkin on my computer which basically redirected my explorer browser's homepage to some random search engine filled with pop-ups.
To rid yourself of these things try-

[HijackThis-destroys sinkin and other malware]
Spychecker.com

[Adaware-Great free spyware/malware removal utility, just dont forget to clik update]
Download.com

[Norton Antivirus (TrialWare)-Great for removing viruses, but not made for spyware/malware]
Symantec.com

i already use Adaware and my anti virus is AVG.......to anser you because they really didnt do ne think to my computer..they just sat there

you have to run them to make them work

try running adaware then doing a full system scan after you
clik the check for updates now text right above the start button.
thatll show you what it can do.

try doing trendmicro's house call... it scans from the outside, so it should be able to pick up and remove most of them, and tell you how to get rid of the ones it doesnt remove
