Na, I think everyone just got tired of scrolling all the way down to the first page so they could comment.

well actually.. it's numlock. ( + 1)

you see, the addition of the numpad to a qwerty (or whichever you choose to use) keyboard means that the user now has a choice of using the traditional number keys above the alphabetical characters, which is fine for the odd number or two, or they can use the numpad. like i said, qwerty numbers are fine if you only want to do a couple, but.. well actually, i'm not even going to justify why using the numpad is so much easier, because if you can't work that out for yourself then i'm sure not going to waste my time explaining it.

and here's the amazing thing. the numpad has more than one use!! unbelievable, i know! you can use it for the numbers and symbols *and* it even has these extra functions, one of which (aptly named End) allows you to jump straight to the bottom of a page - how useful! and to toggle between these functions and the numbers, you press the magical numlock button. numbers. functions. numbers. functions. numbers. functions. wow, i could keep going all day!

now, something that you might not have been aware of is that many (but certainly not all) people choose to leave the numpad on the 'number' mode, as apposed to 'function' mode.

so, back to the original point!

"I think everyone just got tired of scrolling all the way down to the first page so they could comment." - fair play.

it was here that i suggested that people could simply use the End function, thereby cutting out all of this scrolling business. but ah ha! as stated, most people tend to leave their numpad on the 'number' mode. THUS, by pressing the combination of keys i stated, you would switch the numpad to the 'functions' mode, and could make full use of that handy little End key, which also happens to be the 1 key.

∴ numlock + 1 = correct.

Or your keyboard is like mine and is missing vitals buttons.
Its really quite sad. It would be more sad if I didn't spray-paint a sweet design on it.

Get a real keyboard. I can't remember the last time I never had the 6 keys above my arrow keys on a desktop computer.

Hehe, hmm don't worry Ninjadave i'm sure you'll find ten buck's sooner or later for a keyboard.

Haha, i'm adding 'I can't remember the last time I never had the 6 keys above my arrow keys on a desktop computer.' to the list.

Sweet, love the metal (although personally I'm not an elitist who discriminates genres of music for their trait's), so just wondering which band's are you into Alucard? I'm guessing the original black metal or death metal scene, but please share with us.

If it features the words "Death to false metal" I'm guessing it's the gloriously ludicrous ManOWar :)

Personally I ruthlessly discriminate against music that has traits I don't like - I just accept that everyone else is going to do that, too ;)

Ahh, okay, I understand you'r meaning, I wonder if you could do me a favour?... I found this quote on the infamous Ultimate-guitar.com forums and I don't know if its too far. Could you please tell me weather the following quote would be too inappropriate to add to the main post?:
"my mum walked in on me having a wank, but then she gave me a helping hand "

Over at GameFAQs there is a user (heatmaster28 I think) with this in his sig:

Someone wrote:90% of teens today would die if Myspace was completely destroyed. Ifyou are one of the 10% that would be laughing, copy and paste this to your signature.

And FYI, I would be one of the ones laughing XD I am definatly adding that to my sig XD
