Karuto	Very little Half-Life 2 mods covered this year, both by mod teams and ModDB itself (only 1 HL2 mod made it to MOTY), so UT2k4 definitely was the modder's choice this year, most likely in anticipation for UT2k7 next year. Can't really say who would be Top 5, though. Darkcraft Flagrantly Mediocre	Empires, Iron Grip, Eternal Silence, and Dystopia were the big hl2 releases this year... I think they all deserve a spot in the top 15. SinKing bumps me thread	1. killing floor 2.0, Ut04 (shooting zombies galore. Just can't get enough of it. The nicest people you can ask for play this.) 2. BG2, HL2 (if its a 06 mod -> final built is; who would have thought firing one bullet could be so much fun? This game often had me in stitches, because smoe battles are so hilarious and confusing you can't help but smile. Its great fun and surprisingly well balanced. This is more fun than most Cs-clones - though you wouldn't expect it at first.) 3. Battlestar Galactica - Beyond the Red Line, FS2-open(incredible what those guys have done with the FS2 engine; massive spacefights - mod's unfinished) 4. Perfect Dark Source, HL2 (the fastest FPS in the universe; mod's unfinished) 5. Empires, HL2 (nothing is wrong with the game, but it is best played with experienced players and unfortunately often some noob grabs the commander car and ruins the game for all. With the upcoming aircraft this mod will finally reach its full potential. And I think the Empires team has made significant progress in exterminating bugs and shining grafics.) --
