Too many things at once? Thread

Hey all. I've been wanting to do game design for a while now but I'm in the habit of abandoning one skill for another. I've stuck to drawing for 4 years now. But other than that I keep getting deterred. So basically what I wanted to ask is how many skill should I work on mastering at one time and which one would be good to work on first. I know it sounds like a newbie question buuuut.....

I don't actually understand your question.
If you want to be a game designer I suggest to start out by making a plan.

Once filed out, pick one or two skills you are good at, this is something only you yourself can answer, and go from there.
