This will be an action flight (simulator) game. Maybe from 3rd person view. The main theme for the game would be abstract/bio/mechanical/fantasy. Models would be quite lowpoly and have minimalistic textures. Game world could have a bit more detail in the textures.. don't want to model every tile or whatever shape there might be. I want it to be something that could be done in 4 to 6 months.

Player could choose 1 ship from 20+ ships, and the others become enemies, and are scaled into different sizes/roles. Big ones are bosses, smaller are common enemies. And the ship that player chose could appear as the final boss enemy with some huge size. You are your own worst enemy...

Each ship would have 2 unique weapons that are part of the ship, and can be used freely without much limits. Then there could be some power / special weapons that player can find. Their use is more limited, but any ship could use them. Some enemies could also have them. Player can develop the ship with points gained from destroying the enemies. Only the enemies show their "level" with their size.

No gravity in the game. Ships have acceleration and max velocity. There would be some friction or automatic deceleration, so the ships can eventually stop moving. While it's sort of flight sim, it should be playable with the usual 1st/3rd person controls, and with as few keys/buttons as possible. Also I don't have a joystick at the moment.

Here's some preview how the ships could look like:

Any thoughts?

Why is it called "TigerCake"?

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.
