The Moddb.com Forum Awards Thread

I've only been on the forum around 2 months but each day i've been on here, i feel more and more a part of the community and love you guys to pieces already. There's no shortage of laughs and giggles and everything is in good light. I came accross an idea which was rather successful on a few other forum i'm part of in which there was an "Award Ceremony" for some of the communities brightest forumites! Forum goers would vote for the person they though was most helpful in the community, biggest laugh, most memorable forumite, most missed etc. and i'm asking you all to see if it's a good idea before we set anything in concrete, so, any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Killer idea, there can be plenty of fields I can already think of.... I already know the biggest spammer.... WAY TO GO STORMCROW YOU ALREADY WON AN AWARD! lol j/k man

Oh i forgot to say - no voting for yourself!. Hee hee! Naughty naughty, but on topic, has anyone any suggestions as to catagories etc.? It would be the first step to creating the awards so that people would get any idea of who to vote for! Has anyone seen any moderators on lately?

good idea, but i already know i won't get anything. Im not on the forums enough for awards.. But ya, cool idea!

jackson just posted today, and frosty and SCM are usually on. Also, catagories could be Spammer (StormCrow already won) most usufull poster, poster with most complaints (Karuto you already won!) clueless poster (poster that asks the most questions) poster with the worst spelling (yay, I won!) most posts, least posts, and most newbish posts. There could be others but those are what I would go with.

I think IceDave should have the Most Questions asked Award, will he ever stop? Doesn't he know where the Help button is? Well anyway, i'm going to leave this open for discussion and let you guys decide which are the best catagories, Karuto, would you be so kind as to get back to me with 10-20 suggestions that are liked by all the forum members, make sure there's quite a spectrum though. Thank you.

Well I consider every thing I say to add to a topic, so in my opinion I am not a Hypocrit, and if they do have that and you all think I am a hypocrit than I get two awards! (worst spelling and Hypocrit) And I will pwn j00 all with my two awards!

That's just for top posters, not all the other things, maybe in INtense! brought back alll the other ones that were there before (like forum drunk) then people would not feel the need to make their own...
