I like Dead Space And I had two dreams in a row about smoking a joint... which was odd, because I don't smoke. -- Quote:How about I give you the phonecall and you give me my finger! |

I love that feeling in the morning when I don't want to go anywhere/wake up (and I am semi-awake) and the bed is at the perfect comfort. But it gets ruined shortly after by me having to go take a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, and then go to school F.E.A.R. actually freaked me out quite a bit with it's unexpected visuals. I would be playing in the dark and all of a sudden; OH SHIT, I just stumbled into a hallways up to me knees in blood, with the walls bleeding and the door at the end with fire behind it! I hate that part.. it happens several times, sometimes its different, making it even more scary. Oh and I hate the part when you go one way, get that scene, then you end up the other way. Fucked up shit man.. fuck up shit..! Edited by: Toyoka |

Dead Space was problematic for me when I played it, the control lag really gave me problems, and nothing I did to my config fixed it. I've upgraded my PC since then, so maybe some of those problems will have disappeared. |

I found out disabling vertical sync made the controls smooth. The only thing I didn't find out how to stop was the game crashed lots of times. I lied... in my bed. I don't smoke, it's unhealthy. This time I dreamed about swimming in a pond. The water was nice and warm. The pond was quite shallow depth, but deep enough for swimming. -- Quote:How about I give you the phonecall and you give me my finger! |

In regard to cannabis, that's debatable. And as for scary games, STALKER was probably the most frightening game I've played. FEAR did a fairly good job in some spots (it also helped that I usually played it very late at night while totally alone). Scary games just aren't my thing for the most part, especially if that's their only selling point. |

Dead Space just annoyed me. It was predictable, clunky, and utterly devoid of atmosphere. It was like it was trying to be Doom 3 in every respect, but getting it wrong. I'll never understand the popularity, awards or hype. (Especially the best sound awards, seriously, ambient audio in room space DOES NOT deserve awards - it's just annoyingly offputting when everything you're hearing is coming from no particular point of reference!!) |

Yeah, clunky is probably the word I was looking for. It had so much hype and looked so awesome, but failed to deliver in so many ways... |

You can hardly say Doom 3 was a breakthrough in its approach to horror. It only had one trick, the monster closet, and it used it so much I stopped caring. I really enjoyed FEAR but it tended to do the same thing. A lot of games have trouble mixing fear and the tension of combat, one always displaces the other, and you wind up with a game with a really binary scary-bit, shooty-bit dichotomy. |

Except SS2 was actually scary. Yeah it was, the first 5 times you played it And the only thing that was really scary to me were the tunnels in S.t.a.l.k.e.r. that shit really scared me.. and those invisible zoidbergs. Edited by: =EMPEROR= |
