I meant nosedrills :dead:

I just got spam from someone impersonating to be the FBI. Then it tries to warn about cyber crime and other spammers (the usual, aunt's uncle died in africa with millions of $ in some semi-inaccessible bank account, or whatever).. but it's still the same kind of millions of $ in some semi-inaccessible bank account, or whatever as the others.

Sometimes I see a certain mod on a certain game and I can't help but...

Example: No More Room In Hell, I can't explain why but it just makes me so... ^

P.S. There is always room in hell.

Of course there is. You never bother to fix the "No" part of the "No vacancy" sign.

It's deliberate for some that is hell driving endlessly never being able to find a place to rest their head, not being able to stop slowly getting hungrier and more tired until they are a withered husk behind the wheel.

It was designed that way. When someone enters the Hell, they see the sign and approaching the gate they get their hopes up that "No" will light up any second now and... then they pass through the gate and sour disappointment floods them. It's so dastardly.

Sometimes I miss this place so much. My early years here were some of the best times of my life. This community were my friends and they made me laugh every night for years.

Childish banter, nope nope nope, none of that on Moddb anymore. Very mature community nowadays, as evidenced by this thread^^

Hard for me to say, my frame of reference is only 5 or 6 years old, but a lot of the mod community or would-be mod community seems to have moved over to the indie development scene. Which seems the natural evolution of mods anyway, so I don't see that as a bad thing. And of course, the lack of modding capabilities most modern games have kinda sucks, but that's been the case for quite some time. So I think mod activity's down a little lately, but if you count the mod and indie dev community as one, then I'd say it's going stronger than ever.

And I don't believe we've ever conversed, but welcome back anyway! The lure of the Moddb is difficult to resist...

The ModDB community is still very active these days. At least this is how I see it. Plus there has been a lot of content and new amazing ideas lately.

Honestly, I would never imagine ModDB being dead. This website is a permanent addition to the Internet. It is actually the base of the modding community of nearly all computer games plus it is a host for one of the most brilliant computer specialists in the World.
