5th post!!!

Uh oh, it's the fun police

Now lets see if we can't get a bit of serious chat going. For at least one post anyway.

What games before xmas are people really looking forward to? The two I specifically have my eye on are CoD: MW2 and Dragon Age Origins. With Modern Warfare it really is all about having been with the series since the beginning. I just love it all, I was initially skeptical about CoD4 moving away from the WWII setting, but they really pulled together some good gameplay, with what I thought was a goos story line. And the multiplayer was most fun, but I find that is the case with a lot of games. I just hope that Modern Warfare 2 has that same great single player experiance, as for me I buy games based upon whether I think the single player is any good. The multiplayer is usually just a bonus.

As for Dragon Age, from what I have seen I think it is going to be another brilliant Bioware RPG. And it has come across to me to have a more adult approach to the storyline, but also how that story is being told to the player. And it doesn't come from the fact that it is going to be a rarther bloody violent game. I am sure it will tie me up until Mass Effect 2.

There is also a couple of others that are at the back of my mind. First is Assasins Creed 2, I rather enjoyed the first one, and I want to see where they take the story. But I was dissapointed that it was the same thing over 9 times. Variety is the spice of life and all. The second is LFD2. I must be the only person who hasn't played the first one. Simply put it looks like a fun zombie game.

Finally the name is appropriate!

But IMO there should be a space between Mod and DB, as this is the Mod Database, not the ModDatabase. No big deal though, I dealt with the other Mod DB Bar and this one should be no worry.

I wish the other one could have gone over 9000 though, then it would be EPIC.

WEll that certainly summed up what I said very well. I played the IL-2 demo and enjoyed it, but really not enough for me to go out an buy.

DAO and Borderlands. Bring on the random diablo-isk gameplay!

I like the capital M as well, ModDB has more character then moddb. (character not characters!!)

Well the world will keep on trucking. There will be highs, and lows but a balance will reassert itelf. And the the cycle will begin again. But we could equally be getting seriosu about the Teletubbies and Balamory.
