Microsoft would crush Fox in court. They'd just crash all of Fox's computers until the hard drives were unsalvagable. |

There are probably seperate game/movie rights. |

QFT, since that's what caused the whole mess last year when the project was dropped indefinitely. Thank goodness it was picked back up, though. I really want to see this done, because if anything, Halo's story was pretty engaging, and I felt could really be extended upon -- flush out if you will. I really enjoyed the books. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

The movie rights will probably give them a position to operate from though. |

Quote:Hail, oh Halo 3, you have come. Yea, the prophecy foretold that there would be another, the most holy third coming, and so we have abided.
And now triumphant, propped up in displays of glorious laminate cardboard, you stand sort of slantwise in the display windows of that one store, you know, that one next to the Starbucks? No, the other Starbucks. Now we will receive you into our homes, insert you into our machines, and gaze unblinking at your radiant glow for many days. We will humble ourselves before your majesty, and in tones of reverential thanks we will chant together: pwnage. And we, your humble haxorzzz, are in your eternal matchmaking lobby of debt, for you have come to us with more magnificent graphics, with solid multiplayer advances, and with a final chapter to a three-year cliffhanger. But with trepidation, we approach you in a crouch position to offer one meek question: is there really nothing more? Oh, chosen disc, do not strike us down with a Spartan laser. Do not curse us with a case of the Flood, for we have just prevailed over that ringworm we picked up in gym class. We acknowledge your greatness, and we will count the ways. Ummm, the Flood is in masses. It's not fun when you have it takes a huge amount of ammo to kill only single being from the horde. -- Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings. |

Yes, but the massive amount of ammo it requires to kill any individual Flood overshadows the ease of killing. To be honest, the Flood on Heroic is rather resilient and difficult to kill. It usually takes a clip or more from the assault rifle to put one of the bastards down for good. The Flood turrets aren't a cakewalk to kill either, acting as biological weapons. They might as well be Zerg cannons. |

Being that the events of Halo take place in the 2550s, this is one slow doomnation. |

I think that Fox does a decent job. Sure, not all of their films are fantastic, but they have a better good movie to bad movie ratio than most. And what the heck is Nochnoy Dozer? |

No, Karuto was making a reference to Ambershee's post that Fox ruins everything movie-wise just like EA rapes games of every genre, usually without lubrication. |

Russian blockbuster film - had a fairly low budget but it was such a good film it made it into European cinema. Seen the trailer for the sequel, and it's all matrix special effects and shit like that. |

Heh, I've started reading the second book in the series, Day Watch, and they're pretty good books. Don't know about the movies though. --

Ooh, the "Night Watch" pisses me off. All they do is complain about our "disgusting little nazycountry" and it's government. And "Names on marbleboard" is such a great movie. Why blame Fox? Blame the director and production company. They're the ones with the vision to turn it into a Matrix-like affair (although the whole halogen light as a weapon threw me off). Fox just distributed it. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |
