Anyone remember that old game from back in the PS1 days called DeathRow? |

I'm pretty sure Deathrow came years after the Ps1. |

So yeah...my laptop has DX10. With a GeForce 9500M, I believe. I sense that rape for my system resources when I install games is imminent. |

I'm content with my pre-2005 computers as well. I don't need or want anything better at this point. My laptops are from the 90s and I do not have the need or want to play 3d games on them. |

Let's see...the most recent thing I'm probably going to install on it is World In Conflict, which is actually very scalable, graphically-speaking. I'll definately check out System Resources Lab before installing some of my games, though. |

Well, that's really the latest PC game I have. Neverwinter Nights 2 follows. Really the only problem is that DX10 makes everything worse. DX9 on a DX10 card works great. DX10 on DX10 is a FPS killer. |

There is not much of a benefit to using DX10 in WiC though. It does not look much better between DX9 and DX10. The only real use for DX10 in WiC is for the dual monitor, large map support. -- snetErz.com - Web Design |

DX10 isn't even technically advantaging in either of those, it's only a hype machine. You could have dual monitor and 'large map' on DX7 and earlier OpenGL. Edited by: leilei |
