Is anyone capable of making a post longer than a sentence or two anymore?

Anyway, I went to get Halo 3 last night. So far, so great! Amazing gameplay with some very nice vehicles to boot. I also enjoyed the story and music a lot -- it really built the atmosphere. Very nice graphics, especially on my big widescreen HDTV, too.

Honestly, it's an awesome end to the trilogy -- ten times better than anything Halo 2 came up with.

I haven't noticed them being to badly overpowered but then again I'm only on the 2nd lvl so far Lovin it so far little dissapointed in forge but I haven't played around enough yet REALLY pissed off that my xbox live is screwing up all of the sudden

Sure, the single player is on the short side, but it's a great time. Hell, you can play 16-player coop! What's better than that?

Heaven forbid people actually enjoy playing a video game.

I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually did. I mean, the main Halo series is finished, so maybe Bungie will be looking at other potential franchises.

Although, I don't honestly see what made ONi to a lot of people. Sure, it had some pretty fun parts, and the story was entertaining, but a lot seemed to drag on. The sound effects and graphics needed a lot of work, imho. Other than that, it's not necessarily mind-blowing. I'd really like to see them take Marathon to the forefront again, but I really want to see more original works, really.

Halo 3's no doubt a slightly graphically updated Halo 2/1 with a few new vehicles and weapons, but that's enough for me, if just enough. Sure, I'd love to see an above average single player thrown in, but multiplayer is what Halo's always been about ,and from what I here, it mostly definitely delivers with the third in the series. There's something about the sort of "jump in and play" attitude for Halo multiplayer that makes a splitscreen match one of the most fun things to do with a couple of friends even if more complex and well though out games provide more enjoyment in the long term.

the arbiter missionswere not that bad, i loved the one before last arbie mission, i still consider it one of my favorites besides the last 3 levels of halo 1

I haven't played Halo 2, but I've played right through the original and I didn't find it as great as everyone else did either.
