Less reasonable...

More reasonable

Just for a start. What's your opinion? How much have you heard about the Federal Reserve? What would you consider as the Fed myths?

this stuff scares me to all hell, if you havent seen the movie zeitgeist(or however its spelled) look it up on youtube and BE AFRAID!!!!!

with all this talk of 2012, the secretive federal reserve basically holding the chain on americas throat, and ever increasing recession.

to be quite honest we americans may be fucked by the very people who run our country. and if america gets fucked, the whole world could get fucked.

but only time will tell

I always liked Ron Paul! Hes probably the most outspoken, rational politician I've ever heard. With that said, I wish politicians would just cut the BS and get to the point as quickly as possible.

In any case, yes, this concept is extremely scary. To know that our fate is in the hands of a bunch of private banks is terrifying.

The real question is: what we can we do about it?

He's from a politician species that is very likely to die off in a few coming years' time...

Yup, Zeitgeist, the spirit/ghost of the time/age (the spirit of the [current] epoch, most likely). :-)

Yes, but it can be postponed even tens of years... but if the whole regulation sys is designed to fail, it'll fail eventually. = /

Yea I voted for ron paul ... however he lost

As for the federal reserve being privately owned ... that IS true, but there are a lot of people out there that don't realize it :paranoid: ...

This is exactly my topic, because I have been dealing with the social and economical developments, in depth. Sure, Zeitgeist (2) is a good movie to get a first impression, but the problems go far beyond the federal reserve. The worst thing is not that we uphold a system that has no other purpose than to create inflation, the problem is the fear it spreads.

By making money in your job you create more debt, because the bank can use your money and split it up multiple times, in order to work with the loans. By earning money we create more inflation which then has to be leveled by the banks by taking up more credits with the federal reserve. So the more money we make, the higher the debt and the higher is also the inflation; it's all a bit confusing, because it seems to make no sense to any sane person, but just look up "Federal Reserve" and you'll find out exactly how ridiculous it is.

In conjunction with the monetary system we also have a social system and a state that sanctions certain kind of behaviour, which we deem to be "good". American Puritanism has spread its influence all over the world, stating basically that every man, who earns worldly riches is blessed by god and deserves what they earn. By looking up towards the wealthy, the poor (middle class) diggs its own grave. 2% of the world's population owns 60% of the worlds ressources. and the greed system is still on the rise.

In the past 100 years we have achieved nothing, socially, intellectually, politically. Equal rights for women? To do what: to go working and to create more debt. Equal rights to African Americans? Sure, somebody has to do the dirty work. Those African Americans who managed to rise in their social status are trapped in the same monetary system like anybody else. Communism? - Didn't really exist, since the system was bound to the same market and could never win against an inflation-based economy.

For centuries humans have been told that this is the "natural" order of things. White men going around the world, creating spheres of influence, suppression and manipulation. We're even somewhat proud of the progress we achieved in destroying the world. Those who live in harmony with their environment are called retarded or brute (reminds me a little of Brave New World). I'm not a hippie person, who wants us to go back into the woods. However, our world is on a one way trip into self-destruction and people are happily joining the party and come up with new ways of exploitation mechanisms.

In regard to the internet there's lots of examples: look at Facebook, MMO's, Browsergames. Developers use mechanisms of exploitation to create dependance. If your mind doesn't recognize the mechanisms behind it you become dependant of those networks; they know the truth about you, even though you may be someone entirley different, in your own mind.

So it becomes natural for us to exploit others and find mechanism to manipulate them. Advertisement is a worse job than Prostitution. With a prostitute you at least get what you see. With products however you get what you're told you see. The Facebooks and social networks of this world help turn people into products and if they are not wanted in a society that screams for always more of the same, they will fail in life, too. We're not mere humans any more, we are avatars with the ability to adapt to the market place. What's the true character of somebody, who doesn't have one?

All of these problems result in a materialistic and decadent way of life, in neglect to the needs of others. Ours is an abusive lifestyle in every way and there are simply no excuses for this. The Federal Reserve system is a demon that creates hell on Earth. And the only way to get rid of the demon is to kill the devil himself. Kill all money that doesn't exist, pay back all the debts our states are in and you will find that we are all the same, everywhere in the world: poor.

I recommend reading "To have or to be", by Erich Fromm. Way too visionary for its time.

Where are you going to sell your countries products?

There would be alot of foreign countries that would get affected if our economy fell through, just as we would get affected if some other major countries economy fell apart ...
