Greetings from DMP games! We're a jolly band of developers working on a new retro/indie game called "Chaos guns" for the last year. Our core team consist of 2 pixel artists/designers, a raster artist, a musician and a concept artist together with a couple more individuals that contribute to the project. Currently we're in search of a coder to help us finish our game. A few words about the project: Chaos guns is a top down shoot'em'up with rpg elements, a focus on story and an open world to explore. The game draws inspiration from classic Amiga titles such as Alien Breed, Chaos Engine and Hired Guns. As mentioned above development started something like 1-1,5 year ago, targeting -mainly- the Amiga platform: legacy Machines (expanded A1200) and NextGen ones (ppc: OS4 and MorpOS). Over the course of this year, with the help of our former coder we managed to produce a complete and working demo of the game for the above mentioned platforms. We are looking for someone experienced enough to join us and lead the project to completion. Since it's a work from scratch, there is no particular prefference from us as to what programming language will be used (GML and the likes included). The team will ensure to provide everything else needed. We already have our own gfx and music assets to use and we are in the process of updating the complete game design also. Our very first job will be to create a working prototype to test and verify the basics: map layout, UI's, controlling & (most importantly) the game's redesigned battle system. Photos from Amiga demo, concept art and "dynamic lights" mockup follow: Link to our site and e-mail follows: |

The game looks epic but I have to wonder what language you are using. I know quite a bit GML (game maker language) but I have 4 questions: Edited by: PoorLittleIndieMaker |
